I spotted The Bootmakers Cottage in Birregurra on Instagram, only half an hour from our house it looked like the perfect place for our first family holiday! We spent our time rugged up by the fire, eating food and soaking in the tub - what a perfect location for my first bath with Goldie!

We received this recipe a couple of years ago from our friend Jess, it's a meal that we love and have on heavy rotation. You can pack it out with seasonal vegetables and the leftovers can be eaten with eggs for breakfast!

Al and I always knew we wanted to build our own nursery furniture, there’s something so special about creating family heirlooms that we can pass on through our children. We invited Geelong based photographer Michelle McKay into our home when Goldie was 10 days old. Michelle followed us around the house, casually capturing moments of our new morning routine. Michelle was a dream to work with and it’s safe to say that we will treasure these beautiful memories for a lifetime.

I ticked over to the third trimester on my 30th birthday - a sign of the times. By the third trimester I felt well and truly pregnant, it’s true what they say… you grow and then you grow some more. You don’t think you could possibly get any bigger, and then you do!
